My Qualification
I pursued my passion for education by earning a Bachelor of Arts in History & Philosophy from Pfeiffer University. To further my expertise in modern pedagogy, I completed a Master’s degree in Learning, Design & Technology from the University of North Carolina. This academic foundation has allowed me to bridge the gap between traditional learning theories and cutting-edge educational technology.

My expertise lies at the intersection of pedagogy and technology. I am a specialist in online and blended learning environments, focusing on EdTech innovation and learning experience design. By utilizing authentic evidence and learner-centered strategies, I create educational frameworks that are not only informative but also deeply engaging and impactful for diverse student populations.
My Experience
Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to enhancing educational outcomes through innovative design. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor and Instructional Designer at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). One of my notable recent projects, “Bricks That Bind,” focuses on faculty-authored microlearning to increase student engagement—a project I recently presented at the AAMC SGEA Regional Meeting. My work continues to focus on reducing reliance on third-party resources by empowering faculty and students with high-quality, localized educational content.
