Hi. I am Kayleen Lares, an expert in creative writing with a passion for storytelling and a love for the written word. I have been writing creatively for over 18 years and have developed a unique voice and style, allowing me to connect easily with readers.
My Qualification
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Literature from Purdue University, where I learned the craft of innovative storytelling and developed my skills in writing fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. My master’s in writing and publishing (MFA) from Columbia University focused on the artistic side of writing and helped me learn and master how to market and promote my work.

My forte is storytelling, and I get excited about crafting characters, creating vivid settings, and developing engaging plots. My experience with various writing styles and genres, from literary fiction and memoirs to science fiction and fantasy, has been priceless.

Over the years, my experience in creative writing has helped me work as a freelance writer, author, and writing consultant (Turner Publishing Company), helping others to develop their unique voices and styles; I’ve learned en route too. I have also collaborated with multiple publishers and literary agents, helping to bring my work to a larger audience.
